Martha Binder studierte Bühnen- und Kostümbild an der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee und der Royal Art Academy Antwerpen, Diplomabschluss im Oktober 2020.

Sie arbeitet als freiberufliche Bühnen- und Kostümbildnerin in Leipzig.

Während ihres Studiums stattete sie mehrere Kurzfilme, kleinere Opernproduktionen, Figuren-theaterstücke aus. In Leipzig arbeitete sie beim Lichtfest,  Sommertheater der Cammerspiele und der Moritzbastei (BANDITEN-2019 von Volker Insel), sowie bei freien Theaterproduktionen in Berlin und Leipzig.

 

Zu ihrer Arbeit als Bühnen- und Kostümbildnerin ist sie als Illustratorin und Puppenbauerin tätig.

Martha Binder studied stage- and costume design at the artschool Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee and at the Royal Art Academy Antwerp. She made her diploma degree in october 2020.

​

Currently she lives as a freelancer in Leipzig, east germany. Besides her studies in Berlin, she was able to work for several short movies, theater productions, opera projects and puppetry diploma works.

​

Additionaly to stage and costume design Martha Binder works as illustrator and puppet builder.
